Tropic Hideaway RV Resort at OWA in Foley, Alabama does not allow EV charging. We do not allow the charging of electric vehicles at your site. This includes both cabins and RV sites. Guest(s) are responsible for any damage to our property caused by attempting to charge your vehicle. Any damage done to your own property is also your responsibility. If you are caught charging your vehicle at your site, you will be charged a $500 violation fee. The good news is that there is DC fast charging right in Foley from ChargePoint. Orange Beach is also nearby, about 8 miles away, with ChargePoint and Tesla Supercharger stations. Alabama's campgrounds are spread across everything from Gulf Coast beaches to Appalachian foothills, and the EV charging map is filling in but still uneven. Despite the campground's policy, you will have no trouble finding a fast charger nearby.
