Does Dan River Campground Allow EV Charging?
Here's what you need to know about EV charging at this RV park in Stoneville, North Carolina.
EV Charging Policy
EV charging is available at Dan River Campground, if a vacant campsite is available. Camping has priority, but if we have campsites that are not booked, they can be used for EV charging. We have 120V/30 amp (TT-30R) and 240V/50 amp (NEMA 14-50R) charging circuits available. The 120/30 amp circuit can be used for Level 1 charging, which is only suitable for overnight charging. The 240/50 amp circuit can be used for Level 2 charging. We know 50 amp is preferable for fast charging and we will try and accommodate your charging needs based on what is available. We do not provide any type of cables for charging. Please ensure you have the proper charging cable, with you, for your particular EV. We charge a nominal fee for charging: electricity will be sub-metered and billed at $0.15 per kWh.
