Does High Falls State Park Allow EV Charging?
Here's what you need to know about EV charging at this RV park in Jackson, Georgia.
EV Charging Policy
Rivian Waypoint electric vehicle chargers are available at the below Georgia State Parks and Historic Sites. Each is equipped with a J1772 plug, making them compatible with all types of electric vehicles. A daily or annual ParkPass is required. Standard charging rates apply.
The Towaliga River drops over a hundred feet of cascades at High Falls, which once powered an entire 19th-century industrial town before the railroad bypassed it and the place went quiet. The park's Rivian Waypoint J1772 charger runs on the same system Georgia uses at its other Waypoint locations: ParkPass required, standard rates, J1772 plug compatible with every EV. That said, there is DC fast charging right in Jackson from EVgo. Forsyth is another option at roughly 10 miles, with EV Connect and Electrify America. Getting out here off I-75 is half the appeal; the Falls trail, the old mill ruins, and a slow afternoon are the rest of it.
